Mission
Turns is a Private Equity backed growth company that owns and operates Tide Laundromats and Tide Cleaners. It's a simple business. We take people's dirty clothes, TURN them around and give back clean, fresh-smelling clothes.
We take laundry, give life. It's a simple mission, but a mission we are proud of and absolutely committed to. We aim to take laundry and give life in every customer interaction.
Our goal is to do as many TURNS on that exchange as humanly possible. How? We are bringing operational excellence and a people-first culture into a fragmented industry that is ready for change.
Our strategy is as simple as our mission: We are building a team of thinkers and doers passionate about creating an unmatched customer experience. An experience that customers will love. An experience unbound by historical cleaners and laundromat demographic profiles. We're building a different laundry experience, and we are building it to scale.
Giving back
When you look good, you feel good. Feeling good should lead to doing good. And doing good is what life is all about. We know there is a strong connection between looking good and doing good. It's a connection that has been thoroughly tested and verified in study after study.
There is something biological happening when you put on that crisp uniform, that perfect outfit. You don't just feel like a new person. Your brain actually thinks of you as a new person, a better version of yourself. You are a new person.
What you wear, and how it makes you feel matters . . . it matters a lot. Especially to kids. Childhood is when we start forming an opinion about who we are and what we are capable of. The clothes children wear have a powerful effect on their self-image, their self-esteem. A child who puts on a dirty uniform to go to school can't help but think they too are dirty . . . less than.
Multiple studies prove just giving kids clean clothes to wear has a drastic effect on school attendance, behavior, and academic performance. Wearing crisp clean clothes helps children (and adults!) feel better about themselves and perform better.
At Turns we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Turns is proud to partner with local nonprofits and charities to provide laundry services to children and families in need.
We're here to build relationships and provide a critical service with a smile, a hug, and a word of encouragement. We want to take a source of friction (dirty laundry) in the family and TURN it into a source of pride.

Careers
At Turns we are all about growth. We believe in the power of an effective feedback loop. We know:
Step 1: If we grow our people, they will grow our customers.
Step 2: If we grow our customers, they will grow our business.
Step 3: If we grow our business, we get to grow our team.
Step 4: If we grow our team, we get to return to step 1 with more people.
It is a positive feedback loop powered by growth. Turns is a growth company.
Here's how it works:
It all begins with Step 1: Growing people. We are obsessive about growing our people through training, coaching, and mentoring. At Turns you will be challenged in new ways to become a better version of yourself professionally and personally.
We will help you add the skills and real world experience you need to become the leader you are. You will grow more at Turns than anywhere else.
As you grow, you will gain competence and confidence in problem solving. Specifically, solving problems for our customers. Our customers all have problems that need to be solved. Usually it is dirty clothes and not enough time. Sometimes it is something more complex than that. Our job is to be creative in solving our customers' problems in a way that helps them grow and experience more of the best things about life.
A happy customer who is experiencing growth will come back and they will bring their friends with them. As a result, our business will grow. As our business grows, our team will grow to support it, and we are right back where we started: Growing people.
